What Does the Acquisitions Department Do?

Simply put, Acquisitions is responsible for acquiring materials which have been selected for addition to the library collection. We purchase library materials in all format types, books, periodicals, serials, music scores, sound recordings, videos, films, manuscripts, microforms, computer files and electronic resources.
