This collection of early nineteenth-century plays, in pamphlet form, includes 324 titles, chiefly printed in the period 1820-1840. Dramatists with several plays in the collection include Isaac Bickerstaff, J. S. Coyne, John Duncombe, Elizabeth Inchbald, George MacFarren, W. T. Moncrieff, J. M. Morton, John O'Keefe, J. R. Planche, and Benjamin Webster. Also included are over twenty stage adaptations of Shakespeare plays from the same period. Individual titles are catalogued through USCAN, and there is a mimeoed catalogue to the whole collection available in the Department (Rare Z2014 .D7 K633).
