One and a quarter linear feet, 1925-1983, constitute the South Caroliniana Library’s inaugural holdings of records relating to the Sorosis Club of Lake City (Florence County, S.C.).

Yearbooks, 1925-1983, handwritten and typewritten minutes, 1927-1963, and a scrapbook, 1967-1968, document the activities and projects of this club for women that was organized in February 1925 and whose motto states that “time is never lost that is devoted to work.”
