Document, 27-30 May 1861, provision return for Capt. B.M. Talbertís company, 7th Regiment, South Carolina Volunteers, accounts for the number of men present and the quantity of rations issued during this period for forty men: pork, flour, rice, coffee, sugar, vinegar, candles, soap, and salt.

The three-day return bears the signature of Tho[mas] G. Bacon, commanding officer, and indicates that no rations of fresh beef, hard bread, or soft bread were distributed.
