Marriage bond, ca. May 1824, between Richard Corbett and Thomas Corbett and Peter Porcher, the trustees of Mary Porcher.

Mary was the daughter of Peter and Marion Porcher, both of whom were deceased. The document includes a description of Oakfield and Liebau plantations (St. Johnís Parish, Berkeley District, S.C.), and a listing of two hundred two slaves ď the cultivationĒ of the two plantations.
