TDNet is a new resource that provides easy access to the electronic journal collections available to each USC campus and the USC School of Medicine. To access TDNet go to the University Libraries homepage <http://www.sc.edu/library>, select the E-Journals link, or go to <http://www.tdnet.com/scg> and the TDNet Home page will appear.

View per Library
If you are accessing the page on-campus, TDNet will automatically pre-select the title list for your campus. If you want to select a different library, click the "Choose to view per Library" drop-down menu to select the name of another USC campus. The TDNet page will refresh, displaying the name of the library you select beneath the "Quick Search" box. Or choose "ALL" to browse or search the complete list of all full-text resources at all USC campuses combined.

Browse
You can Browse the title list alphabetically by clicking a letter in the alphabet box. Then use the "Jump to Page" function at the bottom of the title list to navigate directly to a specific section of the alpha list.

Search
Use the "Quick Search" function to quickly find a journal, search by title, ISSN, publisher, or vendor. Click  to find recently published articles by title, author, and keyword. You can also search multiple search criteria in a "combined search."

My TDNet
Create a private collection of your favorite journals! After an easy registration process, you can setup a list of your preferred e-journals to receive Table of Contents by email, perform detailed searches limited to your preferred titles, and setup automatic keyword searches (with search reports via email).

Departments or groups that share a common area of study can share a single "MY TDNet" profile that will send Alerts to all members of the group, or you can setup as many individual profiles as you need.

Journal Access and Information
The title list will display e-journals with blue links to "View holdings," which you can click on to see the full-text access, along with database information and online coverage. Print holdings include checkmarks to indicate if the library has the title in print - clicking the icon will let you view title information from the library catalog.

Understanding the Title List Display

Online Coverage - Shows the period of full-text access that is available for the selected title.

Full Text Access - Indicates if full-text access is available, and links directly to the full-text provider. If you see the "pw" symbol, the title requires a username and password to gain access. Click to view the username and password.

Print Holdings - Indicates if the title is also available in the library's print collection - click the checkmark to view the "Print Holdings" information from the library catalog.
