Thomas Cooper Library is now offering Reserve materials electronically. We are partnering with University Technology Services using the Content Collection module in Blackboard. You will be able to access your reserve information in the Content Collection and easily move it into your course in Blackboard.
We are happy to scan library materials or find links to resources for you, as well as address copyright concerns connected to posting these materials. To provide this service, we need a list of the reading assignments as well as the dates of the assignments. If this information is contained in your syllabus, please feel free to email that syllabus to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you prefer to fill out a form, you may find one here: E-Reserves Form.
We make every effort to complete your request as soon as possible, but we need to have time to check copyright compliance, retrieve and scan items, look up links to articles, etc... Since we get most of the lists at the beginning of the semester, it's very helpful for us to have those lists 3 weeks before the start of classes. However, we will accept lists at any time, and work to get them up as quickly as is possible.
We will scan or link to copyrighted materials for placement on electronic reserve without obtaining copyright permission so long as they do not exceed our copyright guidelines. If your request falls outside of the guidelines, we will seek to obtain permission from the copyright holder to use the material.
