University Libraries - Classroom Request

Thomas Cooper Library Classroom Request Form

If you are requesting a library instruction session for your students, please use the Instruction Request Form.

The Thomas Cooper Library has two multimedia classrooms with instructor display and student computers.   There is also one classroom with instructor and dvd/vhs display only. Faculty and staff needing such rooms for one or two sessions may request their use, and will be accommodated when possible.

The multimedia classrooms do not open to non library instruction requests until after the first 3 weeks of the semester, or one week before the requested date if falling in the first 3 weeks. At that time, we will process requests in the order we received them. This means requests for use anytime in Spring 2018 will be considered beginning on Wednesday, February 7.

Please note that these rooms are not equipped for instructional recording.

If not, you will need an orientation to the equipment. Someone will contact you to set up an appointment for training.
All computers use Windows 7 operating system and have Adobe Reader and Microsoft Office 2016, with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Internet browsers used are Firefox (default), Internet Explorer, and Chrome. It may be possible to download additional software to the instructor's station; however we do not allow downloads to the student computers.
