  • Early American Imprints Series I and II: 1639 - 1819 [Evans]

    Full text of over 70,000 books, pamphlets, and broadsides covering all aspects of American life from colonial times to the early 19th century.  It combines Evans (Series I and Supplement)  and Shaw-Shoemaker (Series II and Supplement).

    Poetry, fiction, and plays written in English and Spanish by hundreds of Chicano, Cuban, Puerto Rican, Dominican, and other Latino authors working in the United States

  • Sabin Americana 1500-1926

    Based on the landmark bibliography by Sabin, this collection contains works about the Americas published throughout the world from 1500 to the early 20th century. Included are books, pamphlets, serials and other documents that provide original accounts of exploration, trade, colonialism, slavery and abolition, the western movement, Native Americans, military actions and much more.

British Literature

  • Early English Books Online (EEBO)

    Early English Books Online (EEBO) contains digital facsimile page images of virtually every work printed in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and British North America and works in English printed elsewhere from 1473-1700. 

  • English Poetry Database

    Represents basically the complete canon of English poetry containing over 183,000 poems and 2,700 poets. Full text poems. May also include accompanying texts such as dedications, notes and epitaphs.

  • Irish Women Poets of the Romantic Period

    Irish Women Poets of the Romantic Period includes more than 80 volumes of poetry by approximately 50 Irish women writing between 1768 and 1842. The database also offers numerous biographical and critical essays prepared by leading scholars specifically for the project.

  • Scottish Women Poets of the Romantic Period

    Includes volumes of Romantic poetry composed by Scottish women, as well as extensive contemporary critical reviews and numerous scholarly essays specially commissioned for the project.
