  • Blackwell Companion to Phonology

    Reference work of essays covering a range of approaches and methodologies to the key phenomena in phonological research. This online version includes sound files and links to external web content.

  • Caribbean Literature

    A searchable collection of poetry and fiction produced in the region during the 19th and 20th centuries. Among the titles are numerous rare and hard-to-find works written in English, French, Spanish, Dutch, and various Creole languages.

  • China Knowledge Resource Integrated Database (F: Literature/History/Philosophy)

    The most comprehensive, full-text database of Chinese journals in the world.  Content ranges from 1915 to present.  The University Libraries' subscription is just to series F covering literature, history, and philosophy journals.  Content is in Chinese.  There is an English language interfaceDoes not work well with Safari browser.

    The Index of German Journals contains 100,000 records of articles published 1750 - 1815. These articles are indexed with German subject headings.

  • Irish Women Poets of the Romantic Period

    Irish Women Poets of the Romantic Period includes more than 80 volumes of poetry by approximately 50 Irish women writing between 1768 and 1842. The database also offers numerous biographical and critical essays prepared by leading scholars specifically for the project.

    Contains references to Scottish content found in books, periodicals, and other media. Freely available to all to search.

  • Scottish Women Poets of the Romantic Period

    Includes volumes of Romantic poetry composed by Scottish women, as well as extensive contemporary critical reviews and numerous scholarly essays specially commissioned for the project.
