  • Mental Measurements Yearbook with Tests in Print

    Combines two related reference works: Mental Measurements Yearbook and Tests in Print.

    Mental Measurements Yearbook (coverage is from Volume 9 forward, updated monthly) offers descriptive information and critical reviews of more than 2,000 commercially-available standardized English-language educational, personality, aptitude, neuropsychological, achievement and intelligence tests.  Earlier print volumes available in Thomas Cooper Library, Reference Z 5814 .P8 B932.

    Tests in Print is a comprehensive bibliography to all known commercially available tests that are currently in print in the English language. Volumes of Tests in Print from 1961 to present are also available in Thomas Cooper Library, Reference Z5814.E9 B8.

  • Oxford Handbooks Online, Psychology

    Handbooks with review essays on various aspects of counseling, along with titles in cognitive, evolutionary, and organizational psychology, and neuroscience.   If you see a lock next to the title we don’t have access to it, but the majority you will be able to use.

  • PILOTS (Published International Literature on Traumatic Stress) Database

    The PILOTS (Published International Literature on Traumatic Stress) database covers the literature on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental-health conditions related to traumatic events.

  • PsycTESTS

    Contains psychological assessments, primarily unpublished tests developed by researchers but not made available commercially. The assessments include tests, measures, scales, and surveys. All records provide a summary of the assessment and the purpose and history of development. Most records include the testing instrument and link to the peer-reviewed literature describing test development, review, or use.

  • Sage Reference Online

     Includes over 120 handbooks, encyclopedias, and directories primarily in the social sciences.

  • Social Services Abstracts

    Provides bibliographic coverage of current research focused on social work, human services, and related areas, including social welfare, social policy, and community development.

  • Social Work Abstracts

    Offers extensive coverage of more than 450 social work and human services journals.

  • Web of Science Core Collection (includes Citation Indexes)

    Indexes thousands of the most prestigious, high impact research journals in the world. Also has cited reference searching and ways to refine and analyze your search results. Includes three indexes: Arts & Humanities Citation Index (1975 to present), Social Sciences Citation Index (1900 to present), Science Citation Index Expanded (1899 to present). 

    Note:  Previously our subscription began social sciences coverage in 1956. Coverage now extends back to 1900 in the social sciences.
