About the Music Library
Located on the second and third levels of the USC School of Music, the Music Library's collection is one of the largest in the southeast, containing books and scores, print and electronic journals, audio and video recordings, and special collections. Audio and video recordings can be checked out and the library provides CD players, DVD players, turn tables, and more for in house listening. Electronic resources include International Index to Music Periodicals, RILM, RIPM, Oxford Music Online (Grove), DRAM, and Naxos Music Library, the 24-hour online listening service. About Our Staff
Head, Music Library
Ana Dubnjakovic is the Head of the Music Library at the University of South Carolina. She holds B.A. in Music (Composition) and M.M. degrees in Music Composition from the University of New Orleans as well as an M.L.I.S. in Library Science from Louisiana State University. Her responsibilities include management of all operations of the library as well as reference, instruction, collection management, and donor relations.
Jessica Harvey joined the Music Library staff in 2012. She holds Bachelor’s Degrees in English and Psychology from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jessica is primarily responsible for cataloging music scores and parts as well as sound recordings.
A member of the Music Library staff since 2002, Library Specialist Joe Henderson is head of circulation. His responsibilities include managing student employees, overdue notices, fines, bill reconciliation, stack maintenance, and course reserves for the Music Library. He holds a B.A. in music performance from the University of South Carolina and an M.M. in percussion from East Carolina University. As an accomplished jazz drummer and freelance percussionist, Joe performs regularly throughout the state in multiple venues.
Music Librarian for Audio and Digital Resources
Jennifer Wochner joined the Music Library staff in 2012. She holds both a Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance and a Master of Arts in Library and Information Science from the University of Iowa as well as being a Certified Archivist. As the Music Librarian for Audio and Digital Services, she is responsible for maintaining the Music Library's online presence, working on digital projects, arranging and preserving music special collections and archival materials, and producing access copies of audio materials.
