Rebecca R. Hollingsworth South Caroliniana Library Endowment Fund

The Rebecca R. Hollingsworth Endowment was established at the South Caroliniana Library to provide support for the acquisition and conservation of 19th-century photographic materials.  Funds from the endowment also may be used to hire graduate students to assist with the processing, cataloging, digitizing, and exhibition of collections in the Visual Materials Division at the Library.

Rebecca Hollingsworth

Rebecca R. Hollingsworth, of Charleston, has a long standing interest in visual images, stemming from her work as a graphic designer.  Her collecting interests are varied and touch upon African-American history, early American photography, and South Carolina history.
