CTE: Faculty Forum: Teaching Leadership

Are
you interested in strategies for teaching students about leadership and for
developing their leadership skills? If so, join us for this interactive panel
discussion that features the recipients of the 2011 Teaching Excellence Grants on
Teaching Leadership. Panelists have spent the past year investigating and
implementing instructional strategies for developing leadership. They will share what has
worked, and what hasn’t, in their exploration of how to develop leadership
skills -- like the
ability to inspire change, effective communication, the ability to put ethics
into practice, creativity and thoughtful risk-taking, among others. This
session will also provide an opportunity to discuss the recently announced 2012
Teaching Leadership Grants program with the program directors. Whether you’re
full of questions or have instructional strategies to share, please join in
