The Ernest F. Hollings Special Collections Library is hosting four Open Gallery Weekends this spring.

The Irvin Department of Rare Books and Special Collections and the South Carolina Political Collections Galleries in the Hollings Library will be open for public viewing from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday during these upcoming weekends: Jan. 28 and 29, Feb. 25 and 26, March 31 and April 1, and April 14 and 15.

Open Gallery Weekends are free and open to everyone.

Exhibits scheduled to be in the Irvin Department of Rare Books and Special Collections Gallery during these special weekends include “‘A Quieter and Less Eventful Life’: Ernest Hemingway on Writing and Other Pursuits."

Exhibits scheduled to be in the South Carolina Political Collections Gallery include “Public Figures/Private Lives: A Valentine’s Exhibit."
