Library catalog and Website get even betterOct 19, 2011 1:00 AM
In the online library catalog, accessing an electronic book from the catalog is one step smoother for off-campus users. The catalog records are easier to read, and they provide complete information when a title is searched. In the Classic Catalog, the record even indicates which level the book is shelved on. Search tips for keyword searching are easily available on the keyword search screen.
The home page has been updated. The tabs across the middle of the page now include one labeled Textbooks & Reserves. This makes it easier to locate textbooks in the Textbook Turnstile collection, which now includes any textbook for a class of more than 100 students regardless of the cost of the book. The helpful LibGuides have more visibility in the center of the page. The Articles & Journals tab now provides three options so users can choose exactly which article service they need.
