Politics on Film Festival features The Congress by Ken Burns

Ernest F. Hollings Special Collections Library
Oct 18, 2011 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Politics on Film Festival, presented by the Libraries' South Carolina Political Collections, continues Tuesday, October 18 at 5:30 p.m. with a free screening of The Congress. For 200 years, the United States Congress has been one of the country's most important and least understood institutions. In this elegant, thoughtful and often touching portrait, Ken Burns explores the history and promise of this unique American institution.

Free pizza and soda provided!  Attendees may also enter a drawing for a chance to win a $25 Barnes and Noble gift card. We’ll draw one name in the fall and another in the spring.

Politics on Film is a monthly event during the 2011-2012 school year, view the full schedule
