Politics on Film Festival presents City Hall

Ernest F. Hollings Special Collections Library, Program Room
Sep 20, 2011 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

The 2nd annual Politics on Film Festival, presented by the Libraries' South Carolina Political Collections, begins Tuesday, September 20 at 5:30 p.m. with a free screening of City Hall. This 1996 film stars Al Pacino as the Mayor of New York and John Cusack as his idealistic deputy mayor. Drama and corruption ensue. Our own Senator Fritz Hollings appears in a dinner scene as, what else, a powerful U.S. Senator!

Free pizza and soda provided so please join us!  Attendees may also enter a drawing for a chance to win a $25 Barnes and Noble gift card. We’ll draw one name in the fall and another in the spring.

Politics on Film is a monthly event during the 2011-2012 school year, view the full schedule
