"Dr. and Mrs. Irvin and their family have done so much for the library, and for the new rare books library,” said Dr. Patrick Scott, director of the Irvin Department of Rare Books and Special Collections. “I am so glad that she was able to see the new library completed, and to visit it with her sons and their families last year before the formal opening."
