Study Rooms and Reserve Materials available for overnight checkout

Mar 23, 2011

The Thomas Cooper Library now allows overnight checkout of study rooms and in-house reserve materials, including textbooks from the Textbook Turnstile, in response to student requests. Rooms and materials checked out two hours or less before Circulation closes will be due the next morning as soon as the Circulation Desk opens. Study rooms must be checked out with a valid USC ID at the Circulation Desk. To check out a group study room, the minimum number of group members required for the room must be present at the time of check out and each member must have a valid USC ID. For example, the smaller group study rooms require two members to be present before a room can be checked out for their group. The study rooms are available on a first-come/first-served basis and are available for USC students and faculty only. A valid USC ID card or driver's license must be presented to use reserve materials and textbooks from the Textbook Turnstile. Students may check out two (2) reserve items or one (1) reserve film at any given time.
