The Institute for African American Research will be hosting its first seminar for the semester next Wednesday, February 16, at 3:30pm in the Thomas Cooper Library, Room 218. Ms. Alycia Albergottie and Dr. Wilfried Karmaus will present a lecture entitled "Lack of Companionship and Gestational Levels of Estradiol, Progesterone, and Cortisol and their Association with Gestational Length and Birth Weight." Ms. Albergottie and Dr. Karmaus were 2009-2010 recipients of an IAAR Research Fellowship. The seminar is open to the public to attend.
