CTE Effectively Using YouTube in the Classroom- One Professor's Story , 1:00 - 3:00pm

Thomas Cooper Library (Level 3 Multimedia Classroom)
Mar 3, 2011
Wanting to add something different and exciting to your course? With so many choices, where do you begin? Come join us to learn how to effectively and easily incorporate YouTube in the classroom. As seen recently on the USC homepage, Dr. Gail Wagner of Anthropology has raised the bar of student engagement by allowing students to use their creativity in their academic pursuits. Faculty concerns about grading, copyright issues, time, and money will be addressed. The session will conclude with time for hands-on experience in making short movies with freeware. Bring some photos and music on an USB or flash drive and learn to make your own movie on a PC in minutes! Register at http://www.uts.sc.edu/events or call Renee Shaffer, Instructional Designer, UTS, Teaching and Technology Services, at 803-777-4808 for more details.
