Description: Using technology in your teaching can provide for instant feedback, an opportunity to communicate more, an opportunity to get organized, but may also cause too much feedback, communication and lack of organization. Come learn a few tips on how to use technology to save time. Saving time allows you to be more efficient and effective without wasting time or effort. Also, bring your tips to share. About the Facilitator: Lara Ducate is an Associate Professor of German and the Director of Teacher Education in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures. Her research focuses on teacher training, weblogs, podcasts, and wikis. While she enjoys researching how to implement technology in the classroom, she also enjoys finding ways that it can help save her time.
