Description: Online rubric generators are readily available so that you can quickly create rubrics to meet your needs. There are also rubrics to use in your online teaching to evaluation participation, discussion board postings, etc. This session will provide the basics in creating a rubric, examples of online rubrics, and examples of rubrics you can use in your online teachings. Bring your rubrics to share too! About the Facilitator: Tena B. Crews is the Associate Director of Technology Pedagogy for the Center for Teaching Excellence. She is an Associate Professor in the Technology Support and Training Management program and teaches the majority of her classes online. She also serves as the Director of Online Learning and Development for the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management. This workshop is sponsored by the Center for Teaching Excellence.
