This exhibit celebrates the donation by Susan Gibbes Robinson of the Gibbes-Robinson Catesby, the first edition of Catesby's "The Natural History of Carolina, Florida, and the Bahama Islands," 1731-1743. Examples of bird illustration from the Rare Books Collection before and after Catesby's time are shown with he University Libraries' copies of the first, second, and third editions of Catesby's "The Natural History of Carolina, Florida, and the Bahama Islands."
