CTE Early Career Teaching Workshop: Research Supervision 3:30-4:30

Center for Teaching Excellence, Thomas Cooper Library, Room 511
Mar 24, 2009
Effective mentoring and research supervision of graduate students is an important key to student success. In many disciplines, research supervision is an expected part of faculty teaching responsibilities. Participants in this workshop will discuss strategies for establishing expectations, monitoring progress, providing feedback and maintaining motivation that result in successful development of student researchers. This workshop is revised from a 2008 session and includes an interdisciplinary panel of award winning faculty who will interact with the participants. More information
