This year's A.C. Moore Lecturer is Dr. Kevin Padian from the University of California at Berkeley. He is one of the top paleontologists in the U.S. and his research focuses on the major events in the evolution of vertebrates, especially the radiation of the dinosaurs and the origins of flight. He will give two lectures, "How Dinosaurs Grew (And What It Tells about Their Biology" at 11:15 a.m. in the Coker Life Sciences Building, Room 215 and "Darwin, Dover, and Intelligent Design: What's Next for Anti-Evolutionists?" at 4:00 p.m. in the Coker Life Sciences Building, Room 215. Both talks and the reception are open to the public.
