GISday is Nov. 15! Talk with campus experts 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Thomas Cooper Library - Scholars Corner

Thomas Cooper Library is excited to host GISday in Scholars Corner 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2017.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are used all over the world to visualize, analyze, and interpret data. GIS strengthens decision-making by governments, communities, and businesses. GIS plays a crucial role in managing and preserving our natural resources. GIS helps people collaborate and share knowledge. And GIS is used by researchers and departments on campus every day!

On November 15, stop by Scholars Corner (Main Level in T-Coop) to chat with representatives and students from the Department of Geography and Campus GIS Program and find out more about GIS and the critically important role that it plays in research, instruction, and service here on campus and beyond!
