Exhibit opening, "HIV/AIDS in America: The First Decade"Ernest F. Hollings Special Collections Library, Program Room

The opening of "HIV/AIDS in America: The First Decade," the newest exhibit from the Irvin Department of Rare Books and Special Collections, will take place beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, in the Hollings Library, Program Room.
Dr. Ed Madden, Chair of Women's and Gender Studies at the University of South Carolina, will speak at the event. His talk is entitled, "Memoirs and Manifestos."
A reception sponsored by the Thomas Cooper Society will follow the talk. Guests will also have the opportunity to tour the new exhibit, which features material from the Irvin Department's HIV/AIDS and Its Impact Collection.
