Administrative Information
Provenance- The Henry Cowell Collection was donated to the USC Music Library by Edwin Hughes (1884-1965), pianist, music educator, and editor-in-chief of piano music at G. Schirmer from 1920-1926.
Access- Materials in the Henry Cowell collection are available for use Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. by appointment only. Please telephone 803-777-5139 or email the Music Library for further assistance.
Publication Rights- All requests for permission to publish or quote from manuscripts must be submitted in writing to the the Music Library.
