About the Collection
The Bonneville Collection is a collection of fifty-four late 19th century albumen card photographs, chiefly boudoir cards and with some in a larger format pertaining to the American Plains Indians. This collection was owned by William and Nancy Bonneville until they donated it to the University of South Carolina at Beaufort in 2004.

This digital collection was put together by Kate Boyd, Lauren Glaettli, and Kevin Gilbertson of the Digital Activities Department. The finding aid was created by Dr. Deborah Bernsten of USC Beaufort. Tony Branch of the Systems Department is the systems administrator for the CONTENTdm database and helps to manage the computers and scanners in the Digital Activities Department.

Lauren scanned the front and back of the images at 300dpi, 24-bit depth color on a Umax PowerLook 2100xl flatbed scanner. Kevin created the home page and Kate uploaded the images to the database.
