The Southern Heritage Endowment Fund supports and encourages innovative work at the University of South Carolina's McKissick Museum and the South Caroliniana Library. Together and separately these two entities preserve the history of the South, the state of South Carolina, and the University of South Carolina.
In the past, funds from the Southern Heritage Endowment Fund have been used to acquire exhibit materials and to purchase appropriate archival supplies. Future gifts will stimulate ongoing emphasis on Southern history and cultural heritage through a variety of methods and mediums.
