In conjunction with our exhibit, “Life in the Mansion,” we have uploaded eight transcripts of interviews with former Governors, their families, and others who had regular access to the mansion and the activities within.  Find out what it was like to meet national and global dignitaries; collect authentic South Carolina antiques to furnish your home; have your servants provided by the state corrections department; organize the building’s renovation and preservation; and celebrate holidays in the home of South Carolina’s first families!
