Update to name and URL, Source OECD now OECD iLibrary

The online library of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development has changed its name, interface and URL. Best known for its publications and its statistics, the OECD’s work covers economic and social issues from macroeconomics, to trade, education, development, science and innovation.

It is listed under its new name OECD iLibrary.

200 years of The Times (London) now at your fingertips

The Times Digital Archive is a full-image online archive of every page published by The Times [London] from 1785-1985.  The complete page of every issue of the world’s newspaper of record is full-text searchable — every headline, article (including daily reports of Parliamentary debates), editorial, book & theater review, obituary, image, and advertisement.  You can even find the first Times’ crossword puzzle published on February 1, 1930.
Content also includes: Times or Daily Universal Register–Jan 1-Mar 17, 1788 and Daily Universal Register–Jan 1, 1785-Dec 31, 1787.

The Sunday Times (a separate publication) is not a part of the Times Digital Archive.

ACRL Metrics

With ACRLMetrics you can create reports from statistics gathered by the Association of College and Research Libraries and the National Center for Education Statistics’ academic libraries survey.  Statistics on services, circulation, salaries, expenditures (collections, staff, operating), outputs are available as well as reports on library trends.  Figures begin with surveys compiled in 2000.

The database is available to USC faculty, students, and staff only and requires an additional username and password for logon.  Username and password are available from the ACRLMetrics entry in the Ejournals [TDNet] listing.
