Library Survey Team
 
OBJECTIVES: This standing team will exist to coordinate the user survey activities of the University Libraries. This will be accomplished through establishing a Library user survey plan, reviewing all existing survey activities, and consulting with appropriate campus consultants with expertise in survey activities. Team members will serve staggered terms of one, two, or three years.

Time Frame: On-going

Requirements:

    1. Provide an initial review of all existing Library survey activities.

    2. Determine the most appropriate individuals within the University Libraries and within the university with the appropriate expertise to assist the Library in its survey activities.

    3. Establish a Library survey plan that encompasses the issues of measuring user needs, user satisfaction, and user awareness of University Libraries services and products.

    4. Conducts annual surveys (Library Building Survey and LibQual+) for the University Libraries and additional survey activities as needed.

    5. Provides a written annual report. Meets with the Library Administrative Council on an annual basis.
